About Taz

Taz Fillie is an artist, photographer, and graphic designer who lives and works in Sarasota, Florida. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Imaging with a minor in Graphic Design at the Ringling College of Art and Design. She is expected to graduate in 2027.

Her work explores themes of wilderness, wildlife, and animal welfare. She is currently working on a documentary photography project in collaboration with Sarasota Veterinary Services. Her creative process includes photography, graphic design, illustration, and painting, which often focuses on concepts of portraiture, body, identity, and self-love.

Taz is a recipient of the Louis W. Cabot Nature Photography Fund and the Bob Cohn and Sue Gutterman Fund. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Madeby Gallery Spring Annual Student Show (2024, 2025) and Candela at the Deborah M. Cooley Photography Center (2025).
